This week, almost 50 girls, dressed in their pink, black and white colours entertained the residents of the Life Care Village on Portrush Road. They learned 9 new songs for this performance and many of the songs were unfamiliar to the girls but well known to our elderly audience. The songs included a medley of songs from The Seekers, Bye Bye Blackbird, The Glory of Love and a song from Annie Get Your Gun. The girls sang with great enthusiasm and their choreography and beautiful singing brought big smiles to the residents, so much so that they had two calls for an encore! Special thanks go to our soloists Giselle, Ruby, Kiana, Marielle and Bella and our comperes, Courtney, Darcy, Gracie and Abby. I was so very proud to showcase the talents of this great choir!!
Congratulations to the choir and to you Marion; your passion and enthusiasm is very motivating. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed all of the preparation and the performance but didn’t mention the encores!
Thank you for your comment. I am just SO proud of our gorgeous girls! They bring me a lot of joy! I am planning to have an early evening performance here at school in the near future so that the parents can hear the girls’ repertoire of songs. It would last for about 45 minutes…. Am thinking maybe at 6.15 one night? Would welcome any feedback.
